Ryan Brown

 

Ryan Brown, Baroque Violin, was educated at Oberlin Conservatory, Cincinnati, and the Juilliard School, and appears as a chamber musician and recitalist in the United States, Europe and Japan. He is a founding member of the Four Nations Ensemble, with which he tours regularly. Mr. Brown's recitals of 17th and 18th-century violin music have been presented in New York and across the country and are frequently broadcast on National Public Radio. Mr. Brown and the Four Nations Ensemble have been presented by Lincoln Center on their Great Performers series, the Kennedy Center on their Terrace Theatre Chamber Music series, Merkin Concert Hall, and in recital throughout North America. Mr. Brown is Artistic Director of the Redwoods Summer Music Festival in California and the Violins of Lafayette in Washington, D.C.
