Jay Elfenbein

 

 

Jay Elfenbein, Violone, is a graduate of the Juilliard School and has been heard with the St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble, Concert Royal, the Handel and Haydn Society, American Symphony Orchestra and has appeared throughout the northeast as a gamba soloist in both Bach Passions. He serves as director of the Ivory Consort and is also a composer whose commissioned works have been performed in the U.S., Europe and South America. Mr. Elfenbein has recorded for Sony, CBS, PGM and Newport Classics.
