About the Church of St. Mary the Virgin
The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, built in 1906, is modeled after a 1494 chapel
in Middlesex, England. it is a charming Gothic-style stone church with magnificent
stained glass windows and wonderful acoustics. And because of its small size
it is an ideal and intimate venue for early music. Our receptions will take
place in the adjacent Parish Hall, and as usual, we will celebrate each concert
performance with the most delectable sweets and savories. These receptions also
give you an opportunity to get to know the many distinguished artists that perform
on our series.
The Church is located at 191 South Greeley Avenue.
