Judith Pannill

Judith Pannill, Soprano, has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and the former Soviet Union. Also an accomplished violinist, she is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory and the Curtis Institute. She made her Carnegie Hall début with Musica Sacra (Bach's B-Minor Mass) and has since appeared with them as a soloist numerous times including Mozart's Vesperae Solemnis (Avery Fisher Hall), Vivaldi Gloria (Alice Tully Hall), Haydn's Creation and Handel's Belshazzar (Berkshire Choral Institute), and Mozart Concert Arias (The Kennedy Center). Last season, Ms. Pannill returned to Carnegie Hall for the North American premiere of Bok's Missa Solemnis and debuted in Prague with I Virtuosi Pgragenses (Mozart Requiem). Guest appearances this season include the Monadnock Music Festival (Handel and Scarlatti), Bach's St. Matthew Passion at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, Handel's King Solomon, Bach's Magnificat and Handel's Dixit Dominus in New York; Messiahs with Musica Sacra at Avery Fisher Hall and the Tilles Center, and a début with the Memphis Symphony (Soprano I - Bach's B-Minor Mass). Her latest recording is the Brahm's Quartets for Four Solo Voices & Piano on Arabesque.
