John Thiessen

 

 

John Thiessen, Baroque Trumpet, is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and King's College (University of London). Mr. Thiessen has performed with the Academy of Ancient Music, the English Baroque Soloists, the Taverner Players, the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and the Bach Ensemble. He has been principal trumpet of Tafelmusik since 1989 and has performed as a soloist with the Telemann Chamber Orchestra in Japan, the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, the Purcell Consort, the Handel and Haydn Society, Concert Royal and the Dallas Bach Society.
